General Bid Information:
The general nature of the improvement consists of two adjacent projects where a pond and county road culvert project will be constructed land within the Upper Wapsipinicon River Watershed located in Buchanan County, Iowa. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: mobilization, site preparation, topsoiling, core trench excavation, embankment construction, gravel road reconstruction, corrugated metal pipe procurement and installations, tile investigation, removal, and installation and seeding, mulching and fertilizing. The pond will be utilized as the borrow source for the county road project. The engineer’s opinion of probable cost for both projects is approximately $270,000.
